I seem to have an exhaust leak at the header collector/exhaust pipe connection. I have new gaskets but I think I also need some sealer. Anyone have a recommendation?

By the way, I also need a new torque wrench. Should be capable of 20 to 100 NM, recommendations here? My new Weber IDF system requires 18 ft/lbs on the bolts.

in Deutschland sind Namenskürzel wie der von Dir genutzte "ss" nicht wirklich politisch korrekt.

Als Dichtung kann jedes handelsübliche Dichtmittel genutzt werden, welches die zu erwartenden Temperaturen aushält.

Schlüsselwort für die Suche ist: "Hochtemperatur Silikon". Diese Dichtmittel können Temperaturen von ca. 300 Grad ab.

Drehmomentschlüssel gibt es in jeder Preislage, vom Billigheimer für €25,- bis zu schier unbezahlbare voll Digitale Dinger von Snap-On, Hazett und ähnliche.

Bei EBAY bekommst Du eine gute Übersicht, über Preislage und das was lieferbar ist.
