In the past I have always had the best results with Autolite spark plugs. Currently I have NGK's but I am not very happy with the way the car is running, I think the plugs may be too cold. With the Autolites I was always able to increase or decrease the heat range to my car. I don't know anything about the NGK possibilities, any recommendations for a 302 with Aluminum heads?

No idea regarding the aluminum heads, but I only use Autolite platinums. Never had any issues with them.

your spark is colder then my spark type.

BKR6EK heat range 6
TR55 heat range 5

I just bought a set of "5"'s. Had to go to two shops, they never have 8 plugs.....
